Welcome to Red Country Acres

We have started our journey. 

We love having a variety of animals on the family farm.  Chickens, pygmy goats, miniature donkeys and cats were commonly seen but we wanted to select an animal that was going to bring us the same enjoyment and production to the farm.

In 2008, we purchased our first commercial goat herd and fell in love with the wonderful characteristics of the Boer goats.  They are gentle, loving and exciting animals.  At the end of 2010, we enhanced our herd and purchased our first fullblood Boer goats.  We have continued to grow in herd size but also in our love for this wonderful gentle giant.  They have such personalities that are playful, loyal and sincere.

We are focused on maintaining a healthy herd and wonderful production level.
